The Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) has set off a soft computer loan facility for its private schools partners under the slogan of New School Program (NSP). About 50 thousand rupees each will be given to 183 partner schools of various districts for buying computers.
A ceremony was held at PEF office with managing director Dr. Aneela Salman in the chair. Deputy MD (Finance) Salman Anwar Malik, Addl. Director (North Zone) Syed Naveed Abbas, Deputy Director Muneeb Alam as well as partner schools heads were also present on the occasion.
While talking to the participants Dr Aneela said that information technology was being effectively utilized to improve the quality of education in partner schools. Besides using innovative SIS software for storing 1.4 million student’s necessary data, pilot project of online attendance by using android smart phones has also been launched from Lahore.
PEF-DMD (F) Salman Anwar Malik also expressed on the occasion and distributed cheques among 28 school heads from Mianwali, Chiniot, Khushab, Sargodha and Toba Tek Singh.
